Abhishek Bachchan, who played Captain Vikram Batra in JP Dutta’s ‘LOC: Kargil’, recently reacted to a fan who said he played the role of the Kargil war hero batter on-screen than Sidharth Malhotra in ‘Shershah’.

One Twitter user wrote, “#ShershaahTrailer is awsm. No offense to Siddharth malhotra (awsm actor did a good job ) but I think @juniorbachchan played Capt. Vikram batra (pvc) way better in #LocKargil movie. (Was more energetic especially in that dialogue – ye Dil mange more , Durga Mata ki jai).” Abhishek replied with a folded hands emoji.

This is not the first time that people are comparing Abhishek and Sidharth’s portrayal of Vikram Batra. Earlier too, another fan had tweeted saying, “Just watched #ShershaahTrailer starring @SidMalhotra but wanna tell everyone that No one can match effort/energy putten by @juniorbachchan in 2003 LOC:Kargil movie. He is the one and only reel life Vikram Batra. Always gives goosebumps while seeing and listening his dialogue.” Abhishek replied to him as well with a folded hand emoji.

JP Dutta’s ‘LOC: Kargil’ also starred Ajay Devgn, Saif Ali Khan, Suniel Shetty, Sanjay Dutt and others in lead roles. The upcoming Sidharth starrer will also feature Kiara Advani in a lead role.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Abhishek will next be seen in ‘Bob Biswas’ where he will be essaying the popular character from Sujoy Ghosh’s ‘Kahaani’ that starred Vidya Balan in the lead role. The upcoming film will also star Chitrangada Singh in the lead role.
