Raj Kundra is currently in police custody after he was arrested on charges of making pornographic content and publishing it. The Mumbai Police has arrested 11 people in the case and is actively probing Raj Kundra’s connection to the same. Now according to the latest report on Times Now, Mumbai Police has accessed some electronic evidence which hints that Raj Kundra believed that live streaming of sexual acts was the future. The report further quotes Mumbai Police sources who claimed that Raj Kundra planned to make his porn business as Bollywood.

The Mumbai Crime Branch have named Raj Kundra as the ‘key conspirator’ in the case involving creation and publishing of porn videos through the ‘Hotshots’ app. Mumbai’s Joint Police Commissioner (Crime) Milind Bharambe has revealed that this free to download app has been pulled off by both Apple and Google Playstore for the type of its content. Raj Kundra has said that he sold ‘Hotshots’ for $25,000 in 2019. However, it is also being reported that Raj Kundra and his UK based brother-in-law Pradeep Bakshi worked together on this app. According to IANS, Raj is the owner of Viaan Industries Ltd, while Pradeep Bakshi — a British citizen, who is married to Kundra’s sister — is the Chairman of Kenrin Ltd., London. Both the companies worked on the mobile app called ‘HotShots Digital Entertainment’, developed by Kenrin Ltd. Raj Kundra reportedly supplied the content and controlled the UK firm from his Viaan Industries office.

Apart from Raj Kundra, the Mumbai police have also arrested his IT person Ryan J. Tharpe. Previously, nine people have been arrested in this case, namely, TV actress Gehna Vashisht, Yasmin R. Khan, Monu Joshi, Pratibha Nalavade, M. Atif Ahmed, Dipankar P. Khasnavis, Bhanusurya Thakur, Tanvir Hashmi, and Umesh Kamath.
