Deepika Padukone has been through the ups and downs of Tinsel Town ever since she began her career in films in 2007 with Farah Khan’s ‘Om Shanti Om’. One of the first few actors to openly talk about her depression, she has started the foundation Live Love Laugh to be vocal about the vitality of mental health and the discussion it needs and requires.
On her Instagram account, she’s a mood in herself. Her latest post signifies lightness and darkness, combined together. Standing amid shades of light and dark and expressing the same through the two contrasting emojis, Padukone shared a stunning post with fans. Husband Ranveer Singh called her ‘gory’ in the comments section.

For all those who have been missing the actress on the screen, she has six films for them, all varied from one another. Right from ‘83 to ‘Pathan’ to Shakun Batra’s next to a film with Amitabh Bachchan and Prabhas to ‘Fighter’ to the remake of ‘The Intern’, she’s one busy actor currently, juggling with two movies simultaneously.
Talking about her schedules, a source close to the actress shares, “Once the lockdown eased and film shoots were permitted, Deepika was back on the sets immediately. She has already wrapped one schedule of the `Pathan` shoot in Mumbai and one schedule of her film with Shakun Batra since then. She is now going to start another schedule of the `Pathan` shoot. Apart from this, initial discussions for `Fighter` have begun too, with the film going on floors early next year.”
While managing back to back shoots, Deepika is also working on helping the frontline workers of the pandemic with her latest program, `Frontline Assisst` via her foundation, LiveLoveLaugh and The Deepika Padukone Closet.
